I’m been meditating on 3 words since last week & I’m still not ready to let them go. Okay, get ready, here they are:

This is he.                   (from 1 Samuel 16:12)

This 3 word sentence that the Lord said to Samuel is precious to me. It was spoken to Samuel when he went to the house of Jesse to anoint the next king of Israel, and was the way the Lord let Samuel know which of Jesse’s sons to anoint.

Can you just imagine for a minute when you are called for God’s purpose, and He utters the words, “This is he.” or “This is she.” “This is the person I have chosen in this moment in time for this particular task.”

It’s. just. awesome. to think that these exact words could be spoken in the realms of heaven about YOU!
