Carly is a wife (since 1999) & mother (since 2004), two titles she enjoys most.  She loves her Lord with all her heart & is careful to follow where He leads.

One of her favorite places to be is wherever there are people and an open Bible.  This is where she shines, which is a good thing, since she has the opportunity to be in that position twice weekly at her local church: on Sunday mornings with her husband co-teaching an adult small group class and on Wednesday nights teaching kindergarten-2nd graders.

Carly is on staff at her local church serving as director of the Weekday Preschool Ministry since 2008.  She loves being around the little ones, since her boy/girl twins that were born in 2004 are growing up way too fast!  She taught 5th grade before the twins were born.

Carly & her husband, Brandon, are both graduates of University of Georgia, which is what brought them to Athens, GA in 1997 from the Atlanta area. They fell in love with the Athens area, and have been there ever since.

When Carly is not working or teaching, you can find her on a mountain bike trail with her family or reading, two pastimes that she enjoys most.

She’s thankful for the way that God has led, guided & directed her path every step of the way, and is excited to be on journey with Him.  Carly’s favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding.  In all you ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
